today while prowling home sense i came across a pair of a-z bookends and my heart just stopped. i have been looking for a pair of these for at least 3 years. my girlfriend maya has a pair and i’ve always tried to steal them out of her room. they are also featured in an episode of friends, in which being my favourite tv has also fuelled my desire for them. i’ve come across them on occasion and they have always been out of my price range. you see no matter how much i love or covet after something i am a firm believer in a deal; so today when i saw the $12.99 a piece price tag i was beyond ecstatic. so thank you patience every once in a while you do pay off.

i also had a mini shopping spree in lush today. i have super sensitive skin and after watching another bloggers vlog on her lush products i decided to get the same ones and see if they had the same positive affects on my skin. so i picked up the fresh farmacy face bar, and grease lighting spot corrector (how cute are the names!); i am exited to try these out, results to come. i also got some shower emotibombs, which unlike a bathbomb you use it in the shower! french kiss is a bubble bomb which you use in the bath to get some luscious bubbles and i also am going to try a bath melt, which unlike a bath bead where the oils sit on top of the bath these oils mix into the bath for some serious moisturized skin!

so if you need me i’ll be the bath or shower until all this goodness runs out, or i’m shrivelled up like a prune!
