Flying High.

Adam had a crazy day at work last week and because of the awesome job that he did the falling contractor surprised him with a helicopter ride! So we drove to Campbell River, sprung Mike from work and headed to K&B. Adam, Mike and I were super stoked to be given this opportunity (top left). Now I wouldn’t say that I am afraid of heights, but flying 1.5 kms above ground with a see through floor gave me some butterflies. We took off in Campbell River and flew over Quadra Island, passed Camp Homewood and over Rebecca Spit (top right).  It was cool for me because I got to see what Adam actually does for a living and where on the Island he gets to do it! Flying over the pass that he boated to work through for 3 summer was very neat (bottom left). We then flew over Stewart Island and saw Sonora Fishing Lodge (bottom right), where my girlfriend Kelly is working for the summer so that was cool too! I have lived on Vancouver Island for most of my life and I had no idea of the beauty that I take advantage of every day; flying High above everything today really put it all in perspective for me.

XO
